So, right now (at this moment) I do not have a lot to say in terms of my thesis. I will say I know what I want to accomplish, and I am working on accomplishing it!

So, this week I just worked on trying to find more sources and revising my proposal. I have to say, I feel more confident than last week. I know I still have a lot of work to do, but I am happy I made progress. I am grateful for my team members, and the advice they gave to me. The advice was a good mixture of things I already knew I needed and things that would make my work even better. I am looking forward to meeting with Dr. Zamora. I want to hear what she has to say concerning my topic. You never really know what to expect, but I like the fact I feel way better than I usually do especially when it comes to writing important papers like this one. I still have been praying and since the last time I blogged I got a chance to watch two movies. The crazy part is I watched both of these movies before and the only reason I decided to watch them again is because I really enjoyed them when I first watched it. To be completely honest since last Thursday when my group met with the teacher, I have been doing a lot of thinking. After the meeting when I got back home, I went back through all my notes and thought about everything that was said. I was happy the teacher liked my topic, but I was feeling overwhelmed. Before the meeting I had already started doing research, so I knew how difficult finding the right sources for my topic would be. I was making progress, but I knew I still had a long way to go. The teacher discussing all the research I still needed just made me nervous especially since she was touching upon some of the areas I already thought about. Since I was starting to feel overwhelmed and my mother asked me about class, I started talking to her about my concerns. She could tell I was starting to overthink. Just listening to what she had to say made me feel better, and I stopped thinking about the topic for a while. Naturally, I do not feel like I accomplished as much as I did t...

This week I thought about some more questions I could ask, and I intend on looking at my paper again today to see if anything else comes to me. I originally planned for the conversation or open dialogue with my parents to be this past Sunday, but my dad was not feeling well so I rescheduled. As weird as this sounds, I am nervous. But, I am always nervous (LOL). I want to be as prepared as I can be, but there might be something magical about preparing a little and just letting the rest happen. I want to thank Dr. Zamora for helping me with the questions and expanding my original idea to incorporate my parents. Both of my parents have agreed to be a part of the open dialogue, and my dad is really excited. He likes to be included and discuss how he feels about certain topics. I am looking forward to hearing what they have to say.
